According to: Article – Health Occupations Title 19 Social Workers - §19-101Definitions (e) Licensed bachelor social worker means an individual licensed by the Board to practice bachelor social work. Effective January 1, 2014 the designation of Licensed Social Work Associate was changed to Licensed Bachelor Social Worker.

(a) The Board shall maintain on its website a roster of all licensees…) Effective January 1, 2014, the Board will no longer issue paper licenses. Licensees, employers and clients etc., may verify a social work license on the Board’s website under the “License Verification” section.
INACTIVE STATUS & NON-RENEWED STATUS: (Please note: an inactive & non-renewed license is an expired license)
An individual may submit an application for
Reactivation or Reinstatement, respectively,
up to 5 years from the
Expiration Date. After
5 years, an individual will need to submit an application for
Re-licensure and meet the
